All-On-4 system

What is All-On-4?

All-On-4 system

All-on-4 is a semi-fixed dental prosthetic work consisting of placing titanium implants, supporting the bridge. The main prerequisite is that your jaw possesses enough bone for placement of 6 to 8 implants, to which a circular bridge will be affixed.

Since when is All-On-4 used and what is its origin?

With development of implantology all over the world, some new and advanced techniques have also developed, enabling us to give our patients completely new teeth in a short period of time, and the teeth being aesthetically identical to natural teeth and giving them the feeling of natural teeth, as well. This technique was developed in the USA during the 90's, and has proved as quality and quick solution for edentulism.

Dental implants

How is All-On-4 done?

At least 4 dental implants are placed into the upper jaw, while the lower jaw needs at least 2 implants, but 4 implants ensure optimal stability of the prosthesis. As in the common implantology, after implants placement, it takes 2 to 3 months for the osseointegration process to end, i.e. process of the fusion of the implant and the bone.

Which are the advantages of All-On-4 system?

The main advantage of All-On-4 system is that the whole procedure is very quick. In ideal cases you can have your new teeth done in just one day. But realistically, 2 visits will be necessary because of the time needed for the osseointegration. The prosthesis placed on All-On-4 system will be extremely stable, firm, and you will have a feeling of your natural teeth. It has excellent aesthetic features, and with quality maintenance and frequent checks it can last a lifetime.
